The Nexus 3524-XL Switch, with 24 SFP+, is designated N3K-C3524P-XL. The Switch-on-a-Chip (SoC) architecture is used to construct the 1, 10, and 40 Gigabit Ethernet switches that make up the Cisco Nexus 3000 Series. This series of switches, which was released in April 2011, offers line-rate Layer 2 and Layer 3 performance and is appropriate for Top-of-the-Rack (ToR) design. By combining high performance and low latency with advancements in performance visibility, automation, and time synchronisation, this family of switches has become a leader in High-Frequency Trading (HFT), High-Performance Computing (HPC), and large data applications.
